Like No Place On Earth

With the life changes that the economy continues to bring us relocating to a new state, new city, or new life can be positive and welcoming. With gas prices continuing to soar and food prices taking a rise as well, it causes one to think about what if any changes can be made to better themselves for the future.

Wyoming’s small towns are a great place to start. Namely Thermopolis. Fall in love with nature, beauty, and all the surrounding area. Hot Springs State Park, one of the largest mineral hot springs in the world, is located in Thermopolis. A vast range of indoor and outdoor recreational possibilities, including world-class museums and unending outdoor excursions, are available here.

Since Thermopolis is ringed by mountains, which include the Owl Creek Mountains, the Bridger Mountains, the Big Horns, and the southern Absaroka Range, the visitor has so many recreational opportunities, that it’s difficult to decide what to do first.

While you are checking out Thermopolis be sure to see the Hot Springs, State Park. Enjoy the natural mineral hot springs, buffalo, swinging bridge, swimming, picnicking, barbecuing, fishing, boardwalk, sightseeing, and more.

Of all the attractions, this state park is the favorite. These natural hot springs are famous for their mineral-laden waters. Bison often roam around the landscape. Admission is free, which makes it easy to stop by on your visit.

The fun doesn’t stop. Visit the Wyoming Dinosaur Museum and Dig Site. The Center is a 16,000-square-foot complex in the Big Horn Basin of central Wyoming. It includes a world-class museum, working dig sites, and a complete modern preparation laboratory. Interpretive dig site tours allow visitors to walk the same ground as ancient dinosaurs and watch as scientists remove fossils from burial sites.

If you are into scenic drives then you must see the Wind River Canyon a scenic Wyoming canyon made from tectonic plate shifting, not carved by the Wind River. It is located between the cities of Shoshoni and Thermopolis and is a popular stop for visitors to Yellowstone National Park.
